Chris has been balancing a music career of performance and teaching for more than 40 years. Starting at a young age, his piano studies included Royal Conservatory, alongside pop and jazz. He went on to study with numerous jazz piano instructors in Toronto, and graduated from the Humber College music program. He also studied accordion for 10 years. In teaching piano (and accordion) Chris maintains a focus on developing well rounded students, incorporating many musical styles, including improvisation. He is comfortable with all levels and all ages, and can assist students preparing for college or university music programs. Chris is also experienced in teaching music theory, as well as working with ensembles.

Chris's private lesson rate is $27.00/half-hour.

Soprano Christine Brandt was born in Kitchener, Ontario. She played the piano for 12 years before she began her studies in vocal performance at Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, ON. While there she sang with the Maureen Forrester women’s choir where she had numerous opportunities for solo work. She received her Bachelor of Music in 2016 with a minor in psychology and has recently completed her Master's Degree at Mannes School of Music in New York City. Christine enjoys sharing her passion for music with others through teaching piano and voice lessons. She has worked with younger children to spark their interest in music through a music starters program. She has also worked with children’s choirs in her hometown of Kitchener.

Christine’s private lesson rate is $26 per half-hour lesson.

Kevin is a highly experienced and versatile piano teacher. With over 25 years of performance and teaching experience in a variety of genres, he brings a wealth of knowledge to his students. His studies under the guidance of esteemed pianists like John-Paul Bracey, Linda Kennedy, and Jean-Paul Sevilla have enriched his musical expertise. His time recording and touring with the folk-rock band, The Warped 45s, adds a unique perspective to his teaching style. Kevin’s focus on developing well-rounded students by incorporating many musical styles, including improvisation, is a testament to his comprehensive approach to music education.

His rate is $26 per half hour lesson.

Steve McRae has been an active member of the Hamilton Music Scene since 2004. He was musical director for several productions in the city including Sunset Boulevard, Gypsy, Side Show, Nine, The Little Mermaid and The Addams Family. Since graduating with Honours from Mohawk College, McMaster University and the Royal Conservatory of Music, Steve has been in demand as a teacher, performer, accompanist, church musician and adjudicator in the Hamilton area.

Steve's rate for a half-hour private lesson is $26.
